When did you start with martial arts?
I came to the GYM by coincidence when I was 7 years old. The intention was to attend a swimming pool, but I went another turn and I had met my future trainer Andrey Chadin. So we are together since time I was a child. Remember that my trainer told us a lot of stories about professional kickboxing and very soon all my dreams were connected with this sport.
Which is the victory in your career that you treasure the most?
You know I have got no so bad amateur career where my recod is…don’t remember the exact number right now, but significantly more than 200 bouts. And I’m still proceeding in that field. In amateur ring I regularly catch up the opprtunity to step in the ring as many times as possible. I’m happy when I’m in the ring.
Professional fights take place much more rarely. And for me personally it is absolutely another question which is straight connected with my future. I have got 23 professional bouts and 22 wins. Each of these wins is very important and valuable for me. I respect each my opponent.

What is your life motto?
My motto is very simple. To keep moving forward to my goal and never betray the people which were kind to me.
Where and when give you nickname Brilliant?
This nickname was invented in World version W5 which is my promotion company. I do appreciate such a high measure. The full nickname sound like “The diamond of Oryol city”. But it’s not very convenient to write down or to spell during the tournament. So “Diamond”.
In fact it was Brilliant some time ago. But marketing people of W5 have been discussed that with all the team and we decided that “Diamond” is more correct word. The intention was to put it as diamond. The question is that in Russian language «diamond» sounds as «brilliant» exactly with accent to sound “a”. Obviously this was our misunderstanding in the start. Lol)

You fought in W5. Your opinion of W5?
First of all this is company gave me a chance and trust to me. And I’m very grateful for that. You see my performance so you could suggest how all the team is working. World version W5 is among few of the most high class promotions all over the world for sure. I’m happy to work with my team from W5. I know that some people could say that GLORY is dominating as kickboxing company. But I’m sure that W5 is the same.
