PFL Season 2 finalist Daniel Pineda admitted fault for a positive drug test and has been suspended for six months by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, per a settlement agreement reached with the commission.
Pineda, 34, was also fined $12,500 plus court fees for an elevated testosterone-to-epitestosterone (T/E) ratio stemming from his the promotion’s semifinal event. He will remain suspended until he pays his fine in full or works out a payment plan with the commission. He is required to provide and pay for clean drug tests at 30, 15 and three days prior to his next fight in Nevada.
