ACBJJ France Open in Paris is CANCELLED
European Championship in France has been canceled.
Dear friends, we are sorry to inform you that the European Championship in France has been canceled.
The reason for cancellation is a violation of oral agreements by our partners, french grappling federation (CFG – GIC).
⠀⠀⠀⠀
The reason for organizing this tournament was a proposal to hold a joint event by the head of the CFG Karim Benmabrouk through our friend.
In response to this request, ACB JJ League proposed two options to hold joint tournaments.
Under the first option, the CFG had to bear full financial responsibility for holding the tournament and receive 100% of profit to cover all the expenses and the net profit would be divided in the ratio of 50/50 between CFG and ACB JJ.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Under the second option, ACB JJ was responsible for covering all expenses of the prize fund, the rest is covered by the CFG and the profit is split 50/50.
The CFG, represented by Karim Benmabrouk agreed to the second option and came to an arrangement with ACB JJ to organize a joint European Championship in France.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
As a result, The ACB JJ League met it’s part of the agreed conditions, such as purchasing medals, tshirts, organization and tournament advertising. Also, employees of the ACB JJ League were sent to the venue of the tournament to check the technical conditions and sign a contract. But, upon their arrivel, Karim Benmabrouk refused our verbal agreements as well as signing the contract.
To the big surprise and chargin of ACB JJ League, Karim Benmabrouk began to disprove the fact of his agreement to the proposed financial terms.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Karim Benmabrouk wrote a post on Facebook with content of discrediting and defaming the honor of ACB JJ League.
Unfortunately, friends, we were forced to bring to you the details of this incident and to disprove the slander of Karim Benmabrouk in order to defend the face of the company!
